LM5069: Current Sense Resistor Limitations

Part Number: LM5069
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TPS2662, TPS2660

Tool/software:

According to the datasheet, the current sense resistor value Rs must be no larger than 100 milliohm. Is there a reason for this? I want to have protection at a smaller current level (in the realm of 80mA to 100mA) but this would require a current sense resistor higher than the 100 milliohm. What would happen if I used 680 milliohm?

If this part cannot support this use, is there another part TI offers that will have similar functionality but allow for lower current limits?

Thanks
