BQ76952: Accumulated Charge BQ76952

Part Number: BQ76952

Tool/software:

Dear TI- team,

i have a question regarding the accumulation charge of the BQ 76952.

I assume that the value “Accumulated Charge” (0x0076 DASTUS6()) byte (0-3) indicates the current charge, i.e. the charging current increases this value and the discharging current reduces this value accordingly.               Is this assumption correct?

I also have a question about the interpretation of the “Accumulated Charge” value (0x0076 DASTUS6()) byte (0-3). In this context, the userA specification is not entirely clear to me. Assuming the value userA is set to 100mA (13.3.2.18 USER_AMPS_1=1 and USER_AMPS0=1) and the value “Accumulated Charge” (0x0076 DASTUS6()) byte (0-3) would be 200.
Is then the current capacity= 200 x 100mA= 20000mAh.
Is this assumption correct?

I assume that the value “Accumulated Charge” (0x0076 DASTUS6()) byte (4-7) is a multiple of 0.5userAH and would then have the value 400 in the above example.
Is this assumption correct?

Many thanks

Willi
