LM2698: Does this device support negative output

Hi,

Is the device LM2698 support the negative output?

Webench designer says it is not supported

But in the datasheet "Figure 24. Level-Shifted SEPIC Converter" states it supports a negative output.

Can anyone help with this confusion.

Hi Nanjunda,

The Webench designer supports only for the normal boost topology for LM2698, that is, boost from positive to positive voltages.

In actual applications, LM2698 can support negative Vout when configured as SEPIC topology.

Is there any calculations listed for this negative node for the inductor and the diode selection and output voltage ?
