UCC28950: CS pin (current sense) connected to EA+ pin

Hi, 

I have seen several UCC28950 based reference design where there is an option (DNP jumper link) to connect CS pin to EA+ (Reference: PMP8740). Please see image below:

I could not understand the reason for this. Can you explain what can happen if we connect CS pin to EA+.
