After installing the application software “TPS92518_520_682_LaunchPad_Evaluation_Software_Installer according to the instructions, I receive the error message after starting the program LED_Controller_GUI_LP.exe :

Could not obtain handle to ACController...
Application shutting down

    This thread is a big confusing because you are referencing the other thread that talks about the TPS92682EVM-069.  

    What EVMs are you using (both the MCU evem and the LED driver EVM).  

    You might be using the wrong GUI.  You need to follow the LED driver's User's Guide which should have instructions on which GUI to use, which MCU EVM to use, etc.

    I use the EVM:

    LEDMCUEVM-132 and TPS92520EVM-133

    with the GUI:

    LED_Controller_GUI_LP.exe

     

    When I start the application after installation, I get following responce

    This usually means that LEDMCUEVM-132 isn't getting power.  Double check  your USB cable connections and reseat it.  I have seen this sometimes where the cable is faulty.  Your computer's device manager should show it connected.  If not, then check the cable and potentially try a different cable.  

    You can also verify that the MCU is getting power by verifying 3.3V at TP6 and 1.2V at VDDC.

    When the EVAL board is connected, two new ports appear in the Device manager:
    > serial USB device (COM3)
    > Serial USB device (COM4)


    Voltages on TP6 and VDDC are OK
    Oscillators Y1 and Y2 are in operation
    Jumpers J13 and J15 are not plugged in

    the problem was a active endpoint protector from netwrix which blocked the usb ports.

    After our admin authorized the communication, the eval-board is working
