TLV840: behavior during transient

Expert 6760 points

Part Number: TLV840

Tool/software:

Dear Team,

how does part behave during transient?

When the voltage is over threshold the RESET pin is pulled high or is it left open?

When the voltage is below the threshold, the REST pin is pulled low or left open?

Regards

Andreas

  • Hi Isee,

The device has a built in glitch immunity were any transients shorter in duration than the glitch immunity is ignored and does not assert a RESET. On the other side, when VDD is below the threshold and RESET is asserted, the VDD voltage needs to be above VIT+Vhyst longer than the reset delay for RESET to de-assert.
