BQ79652-Q1: BQ79652-Q1: To what should CustomTemperatureModel:Rc0 parameter be set? (Reopen)

Part Number: BQ79652-Q1

Tool/software:

Hello TI team and others,

This question reopens a previous thread:

https://e2e.ti.com/support/power-management-group/power-management/f/power-management-forum/1195308/bq79652-q1-to-what-should-customtemperaturemodel-rc0-parameter-be-set

The project we are working requires us to use two different thermistors with different B coefficients. This forces us to use simultaneously 18k and custom model.

When using the custom model (with same polynomial coefficient as 18k model), it is not clear what value to use for rc0. The previous thread mentioned to set it to 0 but it does not work with it (aberrant temperature values).

We have a 10k(@25C) thermistor, Rthermistor=10k and will be using the 18k pullup, Rpull-up=18k. Using the calculation in the reference manual it gives 10k/(10k+18k)*32767=11703 which is the same value as adc0 (obtained via the Thermistor Coefficient Calculator Tool).

Can you confirm that rc0 must be the same value as adc0 in the custom temperature polynomial model?

Thanks
