LM4050-N: LM4050BIM3-2.5/NOPB vs LM4050BEM3-2.5/NOPB vs LM4050QBEM3X2.5/NOPB Differnce between them

Part Number: LM4050-N

Tool/software:

Hi Ti,

I want to know the difference between 1) LM4050BIM3-2.5/NOPB 2) LM4050BEM3-2.5/NOPB and 3) LM4050QBEM3X2.5/NOPB.

Please correct me if my understanding is wrong,

LM4050BIM3-2.5/NOPB  -Industrial Temperature Range −40°C to 85°C.

LM4050BEM3-2.5/NOPB - Extended Temperature Range −40°C to 125°C.

But in datasheet, They have given data for LM4050BIM3, LM4050BEM3 for Industrial temperature range as well as Extended temperature range  as shown in below.

Which data do i need to consider for LM4050BIM3-2.5/NOPB and LM4050BEM3-2.5/NOPB, How will i differential whether it is for industrial or extended.

  • Hi Rakeshkumar,

    Thanks for your question!

This is a mistake in the datasheet that we will look into. The LM4050BIM3-2.5/NOPB is for the industrial temperature range and the LM4050BEM3-2.5/NOPB is for the extended temperature range. They are correctly listed at the bottom of the datasheet under the packing information section.

The LM4050QBEM3X2.5/NOPB is the automotive grade part with the same specifications as the LM4050BEM3-2.5/NOPB.

    I hope this helps!

    Best Regards,

    Andrew Li
