BQ25798EVM: The GUI stalls and the values cannot be modified

My customer use EV2300 to test BQ25798EVM with BQSTUDIO Charger_2_00-bq25798.bqz.

We turned off the watchdog first, but we found that when we turned on the automatic update of the registers and then modified some of the register values, the GUI would automatically change back to the original values.

When I turn off the read register, the register may be modified successfully after multiple modifications. Please help me see why this problem is occurring?

    Hi Tony,

    The GUI cannot auto read and write at the same time.  I generally do not use the auto read unless I set to over >10 secs but even then I will occasionally try to write at the same time as the read and the write does not complete.
