LM25185-Q1: Voltage Feedback

Part Number: LM25185-Q1

Tool/software:

I would like to adjust the output voltage of the flyback converter by applying a gain and offset to the switch-node voltage before feeding it back into the chip's FB pin through a resistor.

Simulation shows that applying an offset will scale the voltage accordingly (i.e. subtracting 1V from the switch-node voltage will increase the output voltage by 1V).

However, applying a gain does not scale accordingly (i.e. applying a gain of 0.5 to the switch-node voltage does not double the output voltage).

Is it possible to adjust the output voltage by manipulating the switch-node voltage before feeding it back into the FB pin?
