BQ34Z100-G1: Applying an external voltage to LDO output

Part Number: BQ34Z100-G1

Tool/software:

Hi,

I am using the LDO output of the BQ34Z100-G1 as the supply for a PIC microcontroller.  During programming of the PIC, I need to be able to supply the PIC from the programming tool (so that the programming voltage and Vdd can be applied in the correct sequence).  If the BQ34Z100-G1 is powered down, will applying 2.5VDC to the REG25 line cause any damage?  Unfortunately, I don't have the option of adding a jumper to isolate the supplies.

Many thanks,

Adrian
