Hello TI Team, 

Can we connect two SPI flash over single SPI interface in USB PD TPS65988? \

This is simply to give option for 2x configuration file loading in USB PD via 2 separate SPI flash over same SPI link (please check the attached diagram)

1. 5V @ 1.5A 

2. 5V @ 2A 

A single PD can load configuration from any SPI connected? 

Pls consider slave select signal is not connected directly from USB PD to SPI flash, instead SS is coming from MCU I2C expander GPIO? 

Will this configuration work?

    Hi Garima,

    Why do you need two SPI Flashes?

    Instead, you could load the fist image, and manually change the current over I2C using your MCU. If there is a specific configuration register you want to change, you could just use the MCU I2C to update the register to the correct setting. Also, you can use the "virtual config" option mentioned in our other thread.
