LM5140-Q1: Could the customer remove LMP7701MF in the PMP15032 ref design?

My customer is planning to use LM5140 as a buck converter for the application: Vin=24V, Vout=5V (max current 40A), they will combine the 2 phase output together and will ref to our ref design PMP15032.

they want to confirm the function of LMP7701MF used  in the ref schematics of ref design PMP15032, and wonder if they may remove it to save cost?
