iam working on a new design which i will be using the uc3637 as a class d amp, o i will set the device to produce two 50% duty cccle lets say at

25 khz, okay from here the two outputs will go to a half bridge driver which will be the ir 2110 are another later part for the driving og the power devices,

now what i need once the sinewave has came across the power magnetics i need a way to sync multiple uc3637 devices for freq and output sinewave ampltd. which will be 115 vac from 60hz to 400 hz

i need to make are have one unit /are module as the master and have lets say the other three modules sync to that so i will have combined output power

could you give me some ideas on how to sync multiple devices together for this design, i will be sampleling the output directly from the out put via a small feedback transformer into a ad633 multiplier for loop control, let me no as soon as possible

  • YES I FOUND THAT THANKS,

    BUT I STILL HAVE ANOTHER ISSUE

    NOW SINCE I WILL BE USING +15 VDC AS THE SUPPLY VOLTAGE I WILL HAVE TERMINALS 9 AND 11 TIED TOGETHER ANS A VOLTAGE DIVIDER PUT THERE WHICH WILL BE HALF OF VCC( +15V )  SO NO AT +7.5 VDC CENTER IAM PRODUCING TWO 50% DUTY CYCLES AT WHAT EVER FREQ. THE OUT PUT DRIVER SIGNALS ARE SENT TO A HALF BRIGEGE DRIVER COUPLED BY A PLANAR TRANSFORMER SEC OF THAT HAS THE 170 VDC PEAK SINEWAVE    , NOW TO GET ALL THE MODULED TO BALANCE OUT TO THE SAME SO THER IS NO CURRENT HOGING

     

    EACH OUTPUT WILL BE FEEDBACK BY A SMALL SENSE TRANSFORMER , OUTPUT OF APPROX 5VRMS WHICH WILL GO TO A ANALOG PART AD633 ANALOG MULTIPLIER

    BUT I THINK IT MAY BE OKAY SINCE EACH UNIT WILL HAVE A AD633 IN THE FEEDBACK LOOP I CAN JUST USE THE FIRST SINEWAVE REF AND TIE IT TO ALL UNIT

    THIS COULD BE FINE, THE SYNC PROBLEM IS EASY ITS JUST MAKING SURE ALL THE OUTPUTS FROM THE MODULES ARE THE SAME
