BQ27220: The IC failed to acknowledge the slave address and was showing NACK at the 9th bit. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot.

Tool/software:

I have checked the lines for power and also verified ground. I have also got another unit with the exactly same configuration of that I am testing, which is working perfectly fine.
