TPS7A53: TPS7A53 Design for 0.8V Output – Feedback Resistor Query

Part Number: TPS7A53

Tool/software:

Hi everyone,

I’m Simon, currently working on a circuit design using TI’s TPS7A53 LDO regulator. My application requires a 0.8V output, which appears to be the minimum voltage supported by this device according to the datasheet. I’d like to seek advice on the following points:

  1. Are there any recommended design practices or considerations for achieving a stable 0.8V output with the TPS7A53?
  2. Can I connect the FB pin directly to VOUT (without using external feedback resistors)? Would this have any negative impact on stability or performance?

I already have a good number of TPS7A53 chips on hand, so I’d prefer to use this device for the design. Any suggestions or insights would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in
