    Hi Alan,

    It impacts on the ocp mode you will use.

    Mode 1: Using external a back-to-back N-Channel MOFETs.

    Mode 2, buck average current limit: No MOSFET, CSN/OUT connected to BUS. 

    You can find more details in section 10.3.10.1 Current Limit Setting using RILIMIT in the 830A datasheet.
