LP87745-Q1: How to Set TJA1463AT into Sleep Mode

Part Number: LP87745-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AWR2944,

Tool/software:

By consulting the datasheet of TJA1463AT, it is necessary to pull STB_N low while keeping EN high to put it into standby mode. By setting the NINT polarity value to 0x3D through AWR2944, the radar will immediately reboot and cycle through a 70-second reboot process. The reboot reason is SDL_WarmResetCause_POWER_ON_RESET(PS: No reboot command was sent in the code, and the watchdog was disabled.). After approximately 20 minutes of rebooting, the radar will power down. May I ask how to correctly set the INT pin output of LP87745-Q1 to low level through AWR2944? And how to put the radar into sleep mode?

Thank you!

  • Hi,

For radar configuration, you need create separate thread with AWR2944 in subject. So, AWR team would be able to answer how to configure through AWR.

From PMIC point of view, nINT polarity is selectable as active high or active low  via NINT_POL register bit and mode as push-pull or open-drain (NINT_OD). NINT_PU_EN register bit can activate/deactivate an internal PU resistor. You can refer to data sheet section 7.3.7 or page no. 117 for 7.7.1.27 INTERFACE_CONF Register section.

If you do not have full datasheet, you can request access to it by going to product page (here) and requesting access to the following section. Please note this is NDA restricted so you need to have NDA agreement signed in order to get access.
