In the Battery Management Studio software, there is an option to program the battery chemistry to the fuel gauge. The list in the software already has the battery I am using. Therefore, I have the chemistry ID. Is there any way to program that chemistry ID using a host microcontroller via I2C? What are the other possible alternatives than using the Battery management Studio software to program the correct chemistry ID to the fuel gauge?
