Hi Ti Experts,

I am doing some tests with the bq40z80 in a 6S1P application.

I want to test the CUVC function.

Where in the dataflash can I find the Cell Resistance which is used for the CUVC function?

Is it possible to read the compensated voltage from the bq40z80?

Hello Klaus,

The cell resistance can be found in the Ra table. The effective Ra table value that is used is based on the SOC of the battery.

Hallo Adrian,

thanks for your answer.

I have created a diagram of the Ra table as a function of the RSOC.

So the last the Grid Point Ra_14 (RSOC 0%) is about 650mOhm.

With a current of 5A, the voltage is corrected by +3.25V. Is this right?

Unfortunately, there is not a register to read out compensated voltage. You will have to calculate that yourself.
