LP87745-Q1: Release of datasheet without NDA

Part Number: LP87745-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP87745, AM2732, TPS65219, , TPS6594-Q1

Tool/software:

I'm looking at doing an AM2732 design, so I'm looking at the LP87745 for the PMIC.  The datasheet is incomplete, and it appears that it's under NDA.  Will the NDA requirement go away any time soon?  This is definitely the most convenient device to use for this, but I need to know how to use it.   I've put in a request, but my design really has to be open source, so having chips under NDA isn't really going to work.

  • Hi Corey,

Unfortunately, the LP87745-Q1 full datasheet and Functional Safety information is only available under NDA (and this is not expected to change in near future). We do have some other PMIC devices available that have full datasheet available on TI.com like TPS6594-Q1 or TPS65219 that you may want to check out.

What rails/combination of features are you looking for?

    Regards,

    Katie

  • I looked through all the PMIC devices and I was unable to find one that meet all the startup power rails I needed.  However, after a bit of work, I found some DC/DC converters with built-in inductors that are probably smaller and much easier to use, so I went with those.
