Hello,

I'm using the BQ2050 in a system with a solar panel. I noticed that passing from discharging to charging phase, the NACL register sets the value to 1, while NACH doesn't change.

Is this a normal and usual behaviour of the chip?

Is there a work around?

No, this is not normal behavior for this register. The NAC register should count up if there is charge and down if there is discharge. If there is a reset of the device, NAC will be written to 0.

Thank you for the answer. Passing from charge to discharge changes only the NACL register, so it doesn't seem to be a reset condition. I'll try to modify the R-C filter on the RS pin.

Now i have 100nF witn 100Kohm.

Any other suggestions?
