Hi,

My system uses a 2Cell Li-ion battery that I charge and discharge. I am looking for a driver to drive the FET as a protective circuit for the battery.

Can the TPS1200-Q1 be used in a battery charge/discharge system?

    Hi Nishie, 

    Consider TPS1210, which has dual gate drive. This is ideal for your setup so you can enable one path for charge and the other for discharge. 

    You can also consider TPS4812 which will include dual gate drive as well as bir-directional current sensing if you also would like the protection features.
