TPS7A39: External reference for TPS7A39

Hello,

We are planning to use an LDO TPS7A3901DSCT in our new design.

We want to use an external precise reference instead of an internal reference.

As we understand from the datasheet the external reference could be connected to pin NR/SS.

The question is what kind of precise external reference component could be used.

Could you please provide an information about the external reference component?

    Hi Shamsi,

    The reference to this LDO is internal to the device.  We have not evaluated connecting an external reference to this LDO using the NR/SS pin.  If you want an LDO using an external reference, we have specific LDO's called voltage tracking LDO's where the reference is external to the device.  If this is something you are interested in, let me know what your requirements are and we can make a recommendation.
