LM63615-Q1: DROP OUT

Part Number: LM63615-Q1

Tool/software:

Hi team,

As the input voltage drops, the data sheet states that the IC will drop out.
Is this operation guaranteed to be energized during the guaranteed operating temperature (-40℃ - 150℃)?

regards,

  • Hi,

Can you please clarify what is meant by "energized?" Dropout occurs when the input voltage is insufficient to produce the output voltage, which will cause the output voltage to drop. Dropout is a function of the device's internal timing characteristics, which do change with respect to temperature. These timing characteristic ranges can be seen in the EC table in section 6.6 of the datasheet.

    Thank you,
