Tool/software:
We are currently using the LP5860T to drive a single die blue LED (Vf = 2.7V typical) . This is working well.
For a new project I am looking into a different LED that requires Vf > 6V (8V @ 100mA) .
Does TI have a matrix LED driver similar to the LP5860T that can handle a high VLED voltage? Ideally as high as 18V (may use 2 LEDs in series)
Alternatively can you suggest a High side driver circuit for use with the LP5860T for this application?
Ideally would like a compact solution that would protect the LP5860T in case of LED shorts.
