BQ25176J: Need to change the VCOLD exit threshold

Hi Team,
I wanted to use the BQ25176J IC to one of the existing design and one problem is found is that the battery I am using should not charge below 10 degree Celsius and with the current datasheet it is stated that the charging will be done until 4 degree Celsius. Can I add a pull down resistor to the TS pin to change the threshold to >10 degree Celsius? If possible please share the relevant data to do so.

What is the max charging temp?

Hi Bill,
Attaching the VCOLD and VHOT values of the NTC present in the battery.
The maximum charging temperature is 45 degree Celsius. But it will be good if we can keep it under 40 degree Celsius.

I have been looking at the using external resistors Rs and Rp to adjust the trip point, but it does not look good.

External resistors can spread the trip points out but not make them closer.

You are looking for a charging range of 10C to 40C and may need to change the NTC.
