LM2611: Small voltage ramp up

Thanks for reaching out via e2e. The answer to the first question is yes, you can use the /SHDN pin as ENABLE pin of the device. Also, schematic looks fine but I just want to mention that the feedback will be quite slow with such high cap for C408.

Regarding the small bump you see, that might be related to the diode, and the bump most likely happens when Vin is applied. I would check the input signal to be sure about it.

FYI, here is the waveform of my original circuit. So the reason I use the MCU to enable it is because I want to smoothen the ramp up of the 7V (Vin).

Maybe need your advise on this also. 

Then, how do I simulate this circuit in T i-TINA simulation or Webench?
