TPS1663: Shall the footprint take SLUA271A into acount?

Tool/software:

The TPS16630RGET has a VQFN (24) package. Our librarian has placed an keep out area (square) at pin 1 according to the TI´s recommendation in SLUA271A. I cannot find this document on the TI website, I only have a snapshot from our librarian (see below). This keep out blocks routing according to "10.5.2 Layout Example" in the datasheet for TPS1663x.

Is the recommendation in section 3.5 of SLUA271A relevant for TPS1663x in VQFN package?

Hello Stonos,

I don't see that in TPS1663 EVM designs.

You can check it in TPS1663 EVM as well.

Thanks, but I am looking for an answer from TI if this thing about "...some QFN configurations utilize an exposed metal pin 1 feature..." applies to TPS1663x.
