UCC24624: Use UCC24624 for secondary side synchronous rectification with output load 9kw and output voltage 48V

We are currently using diode rectification in the secondary side and now we want to move to synchronous rectification.Output load is 9KW and output voltage is 48V.Can i use UCC24624.

Hi Suraj,

Yes you can. You need to use an external RC to take advantage of the internal clamp on the VDD pin.

Hi Suraj,

While it would not be as efficient, you could clamp it externally with a Zener diode. The most efficient way to do this is with the TPS7A44. This is a 65V tolerant ultra-low Iq regulator.
