TPS7A20: Output voltage tolerance

Part Number: TPS7A20

Tool/software:

Hi Team,

Could you please tell me the output voltage tolerance under the condition of Vout < 1.8V, Vin = (Vout + 0.3V) to 6.0V?

The other three conditions in the electrical characteristics table all have Vin = (Vout + 0.3V) to 6.0V, except for the Vout < 1.85V condition, where Vin = (Vout + 0.5V) to 6.0V.

Best Regards,

  • Hello Takahashi-san,

It appears that the reason the Vout < 1.85V test condition is given as (Vout + 0.5V) to 6.0V is to better accommodate the 1.6V Vin undervoltage lockout threshold.

As long as the 1.6V minimum Vin requirement is satisfied, I would expect output voltage tolerance with Vin = (Vout + 0.3V) to 6.0V and Vout < 1.85 to remain close to the ±30mV values given for Vin = (Vout + 0.5V) to 6V

    Best Regards,

    Alex Davis
