the external creepage distance of this device is 8mm. According to IEC 60664-1, 850V systems require 4.3mm.
Safe isolation (double base isolation) thus means 8.6mm distance, which is more than the datasheet states.
How does TI argument that this device can be used in 850V or even 1000V applications?
