TPS22916: External DC collision at the VOUT terminal

Part Number: TPS22916

Tool/software:

Hi,

Background
In our portable device prototype, the TPS22916 is used as a switch for the power supply (1.8V) for the system.
It was found that VIN is powered by 1.8V, but VOUT is powered by 5V DC for a very short period of time (> 3m sec).
This is a software control issue, which will be fixed, but until the software is fixed, the above problem will remain.

Question.
When 1.8V is applied to VIN and TPS22916 is ON, and 5V DC is applied to VOUT for a very short period of time (> 3m sec),
Is there any risk that the TPS22916 will be damaged by EOS?

Best regards,

Ko
