Just want to confirm that the output of the UCC27531DR cannot go high impedance? Even in an over-temperature condition, or other fault condition?
The "DR" version does not have the OUTH and OUTL pins.

Thank you for reaching out with your questions regarding the UCC27531.
If the driver is damaged, then the status of the OUT pin is not guaranteed. During operation, the output stage will either pull the pin low or pull the pin high.
The only difference in the above diagram and the single OUT version is that the OUTH and OUTL would be connected internally.
