I'm Looking for a LED Driver with ALS for IR LED Applications. The LEDs will be turned OFF during morning & the LEDs will be turned ON during night. 

Please find the Maximum rating of the LED that we are going to use 

Forward Voltage: 2 V

Working current: 250 mA

Max pulse current: 1 A

Reverse Breakdown voltage: 5V

Power Dissipation: 500 mW

Operating Temperature: -30 to 85 degrees centigrade

Kindly help us in knowing the appropriate part number for the same.

So there will be only one IR LED? What is the input voltage range? Looks like you may need a buck LED driver.

There will be around 10 IR LEDs connected in series.

Forward Voltage Range is 1.5 - 2 V

OK, so is the 250mA the real current your application will need? I need to know the maximum continuous current to choose the best solution.

TPS61500 is also a good fit for this application. And for the Max pulse current 1A, do you have the data of what is this pulse width and period/frequency?

We are actually looking for IR LED Driver with ALS option. Is TPS61500 having ALS feature ?

If ALS is needed, you can use the LM3530.

LM3530 has Max LED current of around 30 mA. But our LED has a Forward current of around 250 mA.

Currently we don't have device with ALS and could also support 250mA LED current. Are you able to split the ALS function maybe to another IC?

We are in process of creating PCB footprint for this IC since we have a huge requirement. We are unable to get the required details regarding dimensions etc in order to create footprint. Can you kindly help us on this.

We want to get few samples from TI for this IC. But website is showing few errors even if we have entered all the details correctly. Kindly help us on these.
