Tool/software:

I am using TPS63900 Is Buck Mode. Input Voltage as 4.2V and Output Voltage at 3.3V. Load current as 0.5A. I want to calculate peak current through the I.C. and Inductor and for that I need to know the tw:A; , tw(B, ,tw(C). How do I calculate these timing also How do I calculate twD. Is there a method to calculate the timing . Please let me know.

Hi AMEY,

For TWA, it is decided by a fixed ΔI which is closed to 300mA, based on this current and also the known Vin, inductance, you can know the actual TWA here.

For TWB, it is a fixed maximum BUBO phase in buck mode which is closed to 800ns.

For TWC, you can calculate this based on voltage-second balance in phase A/B/C,

For TWD, it is 80ns around in steady states.
