Dear team,

Bosch is using TPS22919 for power isolation, and the post-stage power supply is controllable.

As shown in the figure, OUT is a power supply that powers a peripheral chip. The IO of this peripheral chip has a pull-up diode to the power supply. If the TPS22919 input is short-circuited to the ground and is not enabled, will OUT leak to IN and cause OUT to short-circuit to the ground? What is the status of the IC's GPIO at this time? Thanks!

    Hello Mingkang,

    If internal FET is not damaged, then OUT pin is isolated from IN.

    OUT pin has ESD connected to GND. If ESD gets damaged and OUT can be connected to GND. This is not going to damage unless reverse voltage is applied for longer time.
