LP5810: analog dimming

Part Number: LP5810

Tool/software:

Hello team,

My customer wants to set analog dimming, not PWM dimming.

It seems PWM duty should be set 50% even if the device is set to analog dimming mode. Is this correct?

Also, is it necessary to set 50%? How about programming another duty like 100% or 75%?

  • Hi Austin,

No, the LP5810 supports both PWM dimming and Analog dimming at the same time, which means you can set the PWM duty as any value (0 to 100%) through the Manual_PWM_x register while setting the analog dimming value through Manual_DC_x register.

    Best regards,

    Felix
