Is the firmware written to the BQ41Z50EVM at the factory default state?

Also, if I purchase the BQ41Z50 as a standalone unit instead of the evaluation board, will the firmware be written?

Hello Hiroshi,

I've attached the EVM User guide that highlights step by step how to program the the EVM and the stand alone IC. For both units you would have to download the firmware along with the BQstuido software to be able to interact with the IC.
