Dear Team,

As per our application, we want to change the terminate voltage and set the registers that are related to battery parameters like design capacity.

So, if we use the BQ studio for the same, can it be a one-time programmable?

Or can you provide options so that those registered should set at one time only? We do not want to set those at every boot.

Hello AMB,

Using BQStudio you are able to do a one-time programming of the registers on the battery gauges, to change the terminate voltage it would be subclass ID 82 and offset 9. The design capacity is in the subclass and offset at 3

Thanks Alan for your reply. I do have one more query.

Is this effective solution in production perspective? Means every IC we need to configure for OTP (One Time Program) is that?

Can you provide me the possible ways to fulfil our application

Hello AMB,

Once you set your data memory register, perform your calibration and perform your learning cycle than you'll get a "golden image" file that you would program each final unit with. I've attached documents in the process to better explain it.
