Is it ok to connect the Vset of LM5171-Q1 IC directly to Vref (3.5V) without using any external resistor.

Please think about output voltage soft start. At least, an RC filter is needed.

Hi Rayees,

The RC constant determines the soft start time.

You can also use the LM5171 design calculator soft start section.
