TPS63036: Found the high inrush current

Hi Sir,

My customer is using the TPS63036 and found it has the high inrush current, could you advise some comments to fix this issue? Thanks!

Seems it is just caused by too short soft-start time, what is the acceptable inrush current for customer?

Hi Henry,

One solution is adding an external SS circuit follow the application node attached.

Another solution is swap device with a much longer soft start time. such as TPS631000/TPS631010/TPS631011.
