TPS2597: Output discharge

Hi,

We are survey for Vin12V, Vin(abs) = 28~30V, Iout = 6.5A load switch or efuse.

I found TPS2597 should be work, but we have output discharge resistor need < 50ohm.

TPS2597 seems have no this information, may I know there have any output discharge resistor in TPS2597? Or other suitable solution for us?

    Hi Jeff,

    The image you shared is not loading for me. Can you reshare the image. 

    Regarding you question. There is no dedicated QOD implementation in this device but we do have PG pin which is an open-drain pin (i.e. internally there is pull down FET). This pin will go low when Vout goes low and in this way can be used as discharge path. Internal pull down resistance should be around 15Ohms so use a small external resistor to get the minimum required discharge rate.
