Tool/software:
Dear Sirs and Madams,
We are verifying the power consumption and temperature rise of the BQ25730.
We measured the package surface temperature of the BQ25730 during charging and found it to be 75°C.
I would like to calculate the Tj of the device, but is there a calculation seed for calculating the power consumption of the device available?
Tj = Tc + Rθjc(top) x P
I understand that the junction temperature (Tj) can be calculated by calculating the power consumption (P) of the BQ25730, but the formula for calculating the device's power consumption is not listed in the data sheet, and the thermal resistance of this package is complex, so could you please provide us with a sheet or something that can be used for calculations?
Regards,
Masashi
