LM317-N: Thermal Shutdown Temperature for LM317 and LM317-N

We are currently considering the use of your LM317 and LM317-N devices in our design, and we would like to confirm the thermal shutdown operation temperatures for both.

We understand that typically thermal shutdown is expected to operate around 150°C junction temperature, but we would like to clarify:

• What is the official thermal shutdown activation temperature for LM317 ? From the related thread it seems to be around 150°C.
• What is the official thermal shutdown activation temperature for LM317-N? Could you also confirm if the LM317-N might start thermal shutdown at around 125°C of junction temperature or strictly around 150°C?
