Hi,
Would you please help us review the TPS62873-Q1 schematic?
It is for AM69 30A/45A design. thanks!

Hi Jeff,
Thanks for sharing schematic.
Is schematic based on reference design ? it seems the compensation value used for rail is modify for higher current version.
I will review it and give feedback by tomorrow.
Best regards,
Tanvee
Hi Tanvee,
It from AM69 reference design. thanks!

Hi Jeff,
Please find review for shared schematic as design follows reference design and my apology for late reply,

Please kindly share layout files once design is done.

Hi Tanvee,
Got it. thank you!
Hi Tanvee,
May I know why SK-AM69 no add this 2 0.47uF capacitor?
https://www.ti.com/tool/SK-AM69?keyMatch=am69&tisearch=universal_search
Seem add it will be better to reduce the high freq noise, right?
Thanks!
Jeff
Hi Tanvee,
Would you help us check above question? thanks!
Jeff
Hi Jeff,
Let me jump-in to the discussion as Tanvee is out office.
The 2x 0.47uF output capacitors are placed to suppress the high frequency voltage spikes typically generated by the SW node. But in other applications, the low capacitance are placed closed to the system load which filters all high frequency noise from the buck converter to the point-of-load. So, there are different design approach to minimize the noise in the system. It's either filter immediately from the source or in the load side.
I hope I was able to address your queries.
Best regards,
