BQ24196: PSEL and OTG recommendation

Hello,

The BQ24196 datasheet states: 

"The bq24196 has PSEL. It directly takes the USB PHY device output to decide whether the input is USB host or charging port."

please recommend the way to control PSEL and OTG pins to implement different charging current depending on on what is connected to my device: 1) USB power supply (charging port)  2) iPad or laptop computer

Is it possible to achieve the above without connection PSELD to USB D+ ?

    Hi Volodimir,

    Please set up PSEL/OTG per Table 2. bq24196 Input Current Limit Detection. This is for initial input current limit setting when the adapter plugs in, the host may modify it via I2C later on.
