BQ25756: Input voltage regulation

When Ive set the hardware input voltage limit to the default operating window (tied ACUV to VAC and ACOV to PGND = 4.2V-60V)

Can I still set the input voltage limit higher via the registers to like 70V? Or do I need a resistor divider?

Yes, you can set the VAC_DPM register voltage higher than the ACUV resistor setting. You won't need a resistor divider for this.
