Hi all,

Are there recommendation on how to connect the controller if only phase one is used?

I have connected the EN2 and PGND2 to GND.
PG2, SS2, COMP2, HB2, HO2, HOL2, SW2, LO2, LOL2, FB2, CS2+, and CS2- are not connected.
The controller is set to independent operation (MODE connected to AGND).

Hi Martin,

I recommend using the LM5148-Q1 80V single-channel controller for one phase.

If you prefer to keep the LM5143A-Q1, just use channel 1 and leave the HO and LO pin of channel 2 open. SW2 can be grounded, as can EN2, FB2, COMP2, PG2, SS2 and the CS inputs - this will improve the heat spreading for the IC.

Any recommendation, what to do with HB2?
Should HB2 than be connected to VCC or left floating when SW2 connected to GND?

You could tie it to VCC or leave it floating. Either way, once the phase is disabled with EN2 low, there will be no switching.
