Tool/software:
In Webench, I am in the process of plugging in a select power inductor for a Buck switching design. The part is not listed so, I created one close to the parameter limitations. This is a interleaving design so there are 6 inductors.
So next the selected inductor gets the updated parameters with the. Custom created inductor. Next I select the. Next inductor and try to find the part that I just created. And it will not list for me to select it. This seems like a Webench Bug. Another question is where does it put these Custom inductor parts. Is it stored anywhere locally?
Note: The inductor that I created has a higher resistance than was automatically put in the inductor parameter limitations prior to creating the custom part. I wanted to run with it anyway because it is something that is in the supplier catalog and I wanted to check performance with that part.
